Trachelospermum asiaticum (FT01) FLAT MAT™ is a dense, fast-spreading evergreen ground cover selected for its exceptionally compact, low-growing habit and lush foliage. Unlike traditional star jasmine varieties that climb and scramble, FLAT MAT™ forms a tight, carpet-like mat of small, glossy green leaves that create a neat and uniform finish across the soil surface. New growth may take on attractive bronze tones in cooler weather, adding seasonal interest throughout autumn and winter in Melbourne gardens.

This hardy, low-maintenance variety thrives in well-drained soils and performs reliably in full sun through to part shade, making it highly versatile for a range of landscape applications.
