Description:
Sempervivum Chic-A-Deez® Noir is a compact, rosette-forming succulent prized for its dramatic dark foliage, ranging from deep burgundy to near-black tones. This striking variety forms tight clusters of symmetrical rosettes, creating a bold, architectural effect that works beautifully in modern landscapes, rockeries, and container displays. In Melbourne, it performs best in a full sun position with sharply drained soil and thrives in dry, exposed conditions where its colour intensifies. During warmer months, mature rosettes may produce tall flower spikes with small star-shaped blooms, after which the flowering rosette naturally dies back, replaced by offsets that continue to spread and fill space. Highly drought tolerant and extremely low maintenance, this sempervivum is ideal for waterwise gardens, green roofs, and decorative pots, offering year-round interest through its unique colouring and form.
