In mid to late spring, it produces a carpet of star-shaped, pure white flowers each adorned with a tiny purple eye, creating a striking contrast against the dark green foliage. This vigorous groundcover is ideal for adding a splash of color to rock gardens, slopes, and flower borders. It thrives in full sun and well-drained soils, including sandy or gravelly types, and is drought-tolerant once established.
