Common Name:
Lavender 'Ruffles Blushberry' (Lavandula 'Blushberry')
Description:
Lavender 'Ruffles Blushberry' is a beautiful, compact evergreen shrub from the Lavinnova Ruffles collection, prized for its delicate blush-pink to soft lilac flowers and distinctive ruffled flower bracts. This charming lavender produces an abundance of attractive flower spikes above aromatic, grey-green foliage, creating a soft, romantic display throughout the warmer months. Its naturally dense, rounded growth habit makes it an excellent choice for low hedging, garden borders, cottage gardens, rockeries and decorative pots. Growing approximately 40 cm tall and 60 cm wide, 'Blushberry' is particularly well suited to smaller gardens and courtyard spaces. Flowering predominantly from spring through summer, with additional blooms possible during autumn, it attracts bees and other beneficial pollinators. Thriving in Melbourne's climate, this drought-tolerant lavender prefers full sun and well-drained soil, requiring minimal watering once established. Light pruning after flowering will help maintain its compact shape and encourage fresh growth. With its elegant pastel blooms, aromatic foliage and easy-care nature, Lavender 'Ruffles Blushberry' is a delightful addition to Mediterranean-style gardens and sunny outdoor spaces.
