Description:
Lampranthus EXPLOSION® ‘Mauve’ is a compact, spreading succulent ground cover prized for its spectacular display of vibrant mauve-purple, daisy-like flowers. The brilliant blooms appear in abundance above dense, fleshy green foliage, creating a vivid carpet of colour during its main flowering season. Well suited to Melbourne gardens, this hardy, low-maintenance plant thrives in full sun and prefers sharply drained soil, making it particularly useful for rockeries, embankments, coastal-style gardens, retaining walls and pots. Once established, it has good tolerance to dry conditions and is an excellent choice for sunny areas where a colourful, water-wise ground cover is required.
