Common Name:
Shrubby Veronica
Description:
Hebe CHOCOLATE BOX™ ‘Raspberry Truffle’ is a compact, evergreen shrub grown for its rich, decorative foliage and neat mounding habit. This eye-catching variety features small leaves in tones of deep green, burgundy and chocolate-bronze, with fresh new growth often flushed in raspberry-red, creating year-round colour and texture in the garden. During the warmer months it may also produce small mauve to pale purple flower spikes that add extra seasonal interest and attract pollinators. Ideal for Melbourne gardens, it performs best in a sunny to partly shaded position with well-drained soil and is particularly useful in borders, low-maintenance plantings, contemporary landscapes and decorative pots. Its tidy growth and colourful foliage make it a strong feature plant, while its hardy nature allows it to cope well with coastal exposure, light frost and general garden conditions once established.
