Common Name:
Geum ‘Fiery Tempest’ (JAZZY™ Series)
Description:
Geum JAZZY™ ‘Fiery Tempest’ is a striking, modern cultivar bred for vibrant colour, extended flowering, and garden versatility. Part of the JAZZY™ Series, this variety delivers a bold mix of rich red, fiery orange, and golden tones all in one bloom, creating a smouldering display from late spring through to early autumn. The semi-double flowers are held aloft on wiry stems above low mounds of attractive, textured green foliage, adding movement and seasonal drama to garden beds, borders, and pots. Perfectly suited to Melbourne's temperate climate, ‘Fiery Tempest’ thrives in full sun to part shade and prefers moist but well-drained soil enriched with compost. Regular deadheading encourages ongoing blooms, while its clump-forming habit keeps it tidy. This Geum adds vibrancy to cottage gardens and mixed perennial plantings, and it also works beautifully as a soft filler around structural shrubs or grasses.
